This morning we drove about an hour outside of Athens to visit The Temple of Poseidon on Cape Sounion. It is a very well preserved temple and a beautiful sight overlooking the Aegean Sea.
After a short lunch break, we headed out to a nice sandy beach for some sun and sand.
Looks like a good place for a nap.
After our beach visit, we had a little time to drive to the Plaka which is one of the shopping districts in Athens. Many of our group members took this time to do some souvenir shopping for friends and family back home.

After dinner, we had a little time to walk a few blocks from our hotel to a square where our students performed impromptu for the locals.
