The 1st annual Shasta Choir Olympic Games

Our evening view of one of the castles in Nauplion

A group of us decided to take an early morning hike to the top of the Bastion de Robert. Lots of steps but an amazing view from the top!

The energetic early risers.

We boarded our buses and took the two hour journey through the lush countryside to the Olympic Stadium. This is the remains of the Temple of Zeus.

The Olympic Stadium. No seats for spectators-just a grassy hillside.

Some of our racers sprinting through the stadium

Our Olympic winner. Road rash from the dive to beat out the other competitors.

Mr. And Mrs.Spencer doing their best Hercules impression

The Goddess Nike

Our choir performing an impromptu song for a high school choir from Australia outside the Olympic Museum.
After two more hours on the bus (and catnaps for everyone) we arrived at our hotel for a little dinner, relaxation and best of all, pool time!! You can see how the kids felt about that.

  1. Looks like you caught the essence of the day and the huge smiles in the pool really top it off ✿
